1. Zero Server Uploads and Client-Side Execution
File2File operates on a strict zero-server-upload architecture. When you convert, compress, or manipulate files, the entire operation occurs within your local browser sandbox using WebAssembly (WASM), HTML5 Canvas, and Web Workers. Your files, documents, and images are never transmitted over the network or stored on any remote server.
2. No Personal Data Collection or User Profiling
We do not require user accounts, logins, email addresses, or payment details. We do not track individual file conversions, log filenames, inspect document metadata, or build personal behavioral profiles.
3. Ephemeral Memory and Local Cache Cleanup
All temporary binary data structures, memory buffers, and object URLs (blob: links) generated during conversion exist exclusively in temporary client memory and are automatically revoked when you close the tab or navigate away.
4. Third-Party Services and Non-Intrusive Advertising
We may display non-intrusive advertisements via Google AdSense to sustain free access to this tool suite. Any advertising adheres strictly to Coalition for Better Ads standards, operates without tracking file contents, and respects user opt-out preferences.
5. International Compliance and Data Protection Rights
Under global privacy frameworks such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), users have rights regarding their personal data. Because File2File never collects personal records or stores files, no personal data repository exists to access, rectify, or delete.
6. Architecture Security and Zero-Exposure Guarantee
By eliminating server-side file ingestion, File2File inherently eliminates the threat of server database breaches, cloud storage leaks, and man-in-the-middle transmission interception.
7. Policy Updates and Inquiries
We may update this policy periodically to reflect platform enhancements. For privacy-related inquiries, please contact our engineering and data privacy team at contact@leibreis.com.
