Spreadsheets: CSV, Excel (XLSX) & JSON Compared
Flat plain-text tables vs. rich multi-sheet calculation workbooks.
Files are processed locally in your browser with WebAssembly and HTML5 APIs. They never leave your device, so there are no server uploads or third-party file storage.
Start converting immediately on your own device - no upload wait, no download queue, and no throttling by a remote server.
Use every available tool without creating an account, paying for a plan, or hitting an artificial file-size limit. Convert as often as your browser and device can handle.

Technical Specifications & Codec Breakdown
CSV vs. XLSX: Raw Data vs. Formatting
CSV is pure plain text separated by commas - it stores raw tabular numbers and strings that any programming language or database can read in milliseconds. XLSX is a ZIP package of XML files storing formulas, cell colors, multiple worksheets, and charts.
The Comma & Quote Trap in CSVs
If an address contains a comma (like '123 Main St, Apt 4'), a sloppy CSV parser splits it into two columns. Standard RFC 4180 CSV wraps fields containing commas or line breaks in double quotes, preserving structured columns during conversion.
